STATUS PLUMBING was established as a trial run with savings money in October 2013. After three months, we decided to make the business official and apply with SARS for a registration as a micro business and we are still awaiting their approval. We signed an advertisement contract with a well known advertising company. The advertisements (the whole of Pretoria) was launched from the first of January 2013 and since then, we are going strong with a lot of referrals from satisfied customers.
Our Target Market
Our Target Market is every household in and around Pretoria that needs a plumber but our main objective is to provide a secure plumbing service to mainly elderly people and widows/single ladies that do have a problem feeling unsafe with contractors in their homes. Due to the fact that the Owner of Status Plumbing is doing the work himself, he can provide security and a safe environment. Our customer base is definitely within our main objective at mainly 70% of our customers being Elderly people and Widows/Single ladies. The Owner himself is a QUALIFIED and EXPERIENCED PLUMBER with the necessary certification and CONTRACTORS INSURANCE. We are comfortable that we are growing, not only on becoming bigger, but also in growing referrals, pointing out that we are making a success in accomplishing what we are striving for: A SAFE AND SECURE WORK ENVIRONMENT, EXELLANCE, PRIDE and AFFORDABILITY! What sets us apart is the fact that we cater for a certain market namely: Elderly people and ladies/widows who lives alone and who are afraid to allow anyone in their homes for safety reasons. We are succeeding in what we are aiming at!
